That is great news for you blokes. An efficient and timely service, that does not break the bank is terrific.
I hope they get very good demand, to show it is worth their while.

Greetings from the land down under.

Good to see they are up and running again as more competition could help keep prices down and give fanciers more choice but I have to say I feel that maybe they were playing bit of a game that back fired, personally having used High Fliers last week I will stick with them as I found them both helpful and friendly and they certainly put the birds welfare first.
Playing a game? in what way mateTrev wrote: ↑Fri Oct 07, 2022 8:36 pm Good to see they are up and running again as more competition could help keep prices down and give fanciers more choice but I have to say I feel that maybe they were playing bit of a game that back fired, personally having used High Fliers last week I will stick with them as I found them both helpful and friendly and they certainly put the birds welfare first.
Sadies Lofts home of decent birds just a useless loft manager, and now a confirmed loser but proud

I think they expected it to cause bedlam for the UK fanciers leaving them with very few options for moving birds around the UK giving them the chance to come back in and charge much higher prices. I don't get why they would keep all their other lines of haulage open including their European pigeon service and just drop the UK one, it just doesn't compute in my brain and why make a "u" turn so soon !!! The driver who delivered my bird this week used to drive for Walkers, it will be interesting to see if he goes back to them !!Buster121 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 07, 2022 9:32 pmPlaying a game? in what way mateTrev wrote: ↑Fri Oct 07, 2022 8:36 pm Good to see they are up and running again as more competition could help keep prices down and give fanciers more choice but I have to say I feel that maybe they were playing bit of a game that back fired, personally having used High Fliers last week I will stick with them as I found them both helpful and friendly and they certainly put the birds welfare first.
It's just my opinion but it all feels a bit sus to me.
You may well be correct mate, I did find it funny as they only came to me couple days before for your birds, but I do remember they guy saying they had some issues with birds not being ready etc, so maybe was used to get rid of the dead woodTrev wrote: ↑Fri Oct 07, 2022 10:30 pmI think they expected it to cause bedlam for the UK fanciers leaving them with very few options for moving birds around the UK giving them the chance to come back in and charge much higher prices.
