Well this week we are having another attempt at getting a 400 mile race in !!! We should have been at Elgin but because our last race from Perth was brought back to Wetherby the decision was made with Solent and Dorset Feds who are convoying us to have another go at Perth instead. Looking at the forecast I'm not convinced we are going to get a lib from Perth again but I have in anticipation entered 10 birds myself, as a club we had 7 members sending 43 birds.
Good luck with yours this weekend Les πŸ€žπŸ™

Good luck Trev. The weather report keeps changing by the hour. Friday is a no go for sure. Saturday they could go providing the lib site isn't sitting in mist. Sunday is clear, but by then we will be back at wetherby  I've sent 4.

Good luck to you too Les, I know your birds are bred for the job. I had the pleasure of handle a few of your birds back at the beginning of Covid and they are quality birds, I hope they come well for mate 🀞🀞

I'm not sure what forecast Terry is looking at but I hope his is better than mine lol, if they do go tomorrow I can't see it being before about 9am so with the wind against them it will be unlikely that we will see any birds home on the day. Saturday looks better for a Lib as its bright first thing so as long as they go early enough we should see birds home by night fall !!

Unfortunately as I expected the birds have been held over due to poor conditions at the liberation site and up to 70 miles South. Hopefully they will go tomorrow but I'm not holding breath as although it's nice at Perth first thing but with the storms moving up from the South during the day so I think they'll end up bringing them closer to home again but we'll have to wait and see.
