2027 Andy ?
Old birds for 2026 I thought that need to race west to east after another old bird season of east to west this year
August 2025 after racing train them the west route ( new route) was my advice
No point in going all over the gaff particularly east

Old birds for 2026 I thought that need to race west to east after another old bird season of east to west this year
August 2025 after racing train them the west route ( new route) was my advice
No point in going all over the gaff particularly east

Sorry Neil my mistake. I meant 2026. Getting ahead of myself. If still alive hopefully retired by then lol.
I fully agree with what you’re saying. I know some of our members are going to be sending their youngsters different directions on alternate weekends. One week with the combine and one with the 3 counties. Of course on top of that they will be sending South in the nationals. It can be quite challenging when living near to the South Coast. No continually flying the same direction.

Had you been flying your distance races then it wouldn’t matter just go against a head wind ,
might be a opportunity for you to get a nice line over time with a team your cocks holding it from routine

Yes I agree Neil. I think I will just send with the 3 counties and keep them coming from the same direction. A bit more distance in general too. The SW would be a good way to go for sprinting if they were going to stay that way, which they won’t, as I would actually be on of the longer fliers rather than the shortest.
