When you look at it mate there is quite a gap between Alan's first two and his third one as well !!

Yes you are correct, I was just using 1 and 7 as from 2 different lofts

Ahhh, I see

The other interesting thing is that Alan is in Felpham and Roy is in Sompting, Alan flies 109miles from Rugby and Roy flies 110miles so distance wise there is nothing in it. However as the crow flies there is 13miles between their lofts, it was also a Westerly wind so by rights the winners should have been down in Eastbourne but they were only doing 1466ypm, Newhaven 1479ypm and Brighton 1465ypm. Most weeks we get a good split from all 5 clubs in the Fed result, which I think shows you that every week these birds are splitting almost straight away, I think this is when those who train hard have the edge over those who don't.

Good and interesting point there, it is a good show of how distance and crow flying are so wide and different

This is our Federation result from Kelso

Just out of interest, following on from another post by Neil, the first 8 birds in the result are all hens !!!
Well done all.
It looks like Bill will be 2nd Combine too

Which again goes with another post on wind direction, there was a westerly wind last week, the Combine winner is from Leigh Park in the Solent Federation, in the West, Bill is one of our most easterly fliers !!!

This is our combine result which clearly shows that the westerly wind made little difference to the result !! This is just a preliminary result and only has the top 5 birds from each federation shown, it will change when the full result is out.
This is the Combine result, well done to all our members who managed to get in the result, well done also to all the other fliers who had birds in the result.
Let's hope tomorrow's race from Crieff is just as successful

Not sure why part of the result has come up twice

I've tried taking it off but it just moves them around lol

This the birdage in the combine for tomorrow, not a bad turn out !!
I've sent 24 myself, every bird that was fit enough and in the right condition has gone, they have all already flown either Hexham or Kelso so I'm confident that most will make it

Lets hope for a decent race.
The weather is looking unsettled with variable wind direction and speed on route, I don't mind that, I don't want it to be too fast

Good luck to all those who have sent.
