I bought a blue hen back from Bendigo a few weeks back, it was pretty wild. Now the wee Zilzie baby is on her second round of eggs, and is quite bonded onto me. It doesn't take long when you are happy and content, and so are your pigeons. :D
Was that a hen of yours that went back to Bendigo Murray?
I know what you’re saying about retiring and spending more time with the birds. I’m hoping that when I move I will still be in a good location for racing, possibly better than I am now. But that won’t be my priority when finding my next home. As long as it has a big enough garden for a loft I’ll be happy. Are there no other pigeon fanciers anywhere near you then?
Back just enjoying club racing for the time being.

That's a shame mate, why did he leave the site ??
Not seen Leon since I disagreed with him over a pigeon he posted that he purchased and mentioned how much he spent on it
Hopefully it wasn’t that

I'll say about 10 members & I'm the youngest @ 66, think in the end probably a lot of clubs will have to join up to form a bigger club, that's going to be the reality for us all. I can't see many if at all younger people joining & taking the hobby up, think they'd rather spend all the time on mobile phone, play station etc, what a life this generation are living, how I wish we could go back to the 70's/80's great times back then.

I think most of the time Dave the younger fanciers in the Sport are there because they've invariably been brought up around the birds / was in the family.
