Yes, almost all of the first couple of rounds went away, so as I say, these are later bred ones and odds and ends. Still bred off the same pigeons and nice youngsters. Now they are out of the moult, the older ones, and I am very pleased with them.

Reggie and Ronnie. Kray![]()
I think Reggie may be a hen. Ronnie is definitely a cock.
This 'Ronnie the grizzle' is starting to behave very much like an Alpha male. He is reluctant to go in while any others remain outside.
Because it was cold and wet and miserable this morning. and my lungs do not like that, I kept them in until time for the afternoon fly. A few of the stock pigeons said they wanted out as I cleaned the shed, finally there was quite a bunch dancing in the stiff breeze.![]()
When they started dropping there were some hungry youngsters, some old birds, Ronnie the grizzle, some other big youngsters....etc. All normal, except,
I was standing right at the sputnik, telling Ronnie to "get in the box" Ronnie was glaring back at me and as each pigeon, including his fatherlanded, he would herd them in. When all were in he did a circuit of the board, gave me a filthy look and went in.
I'll be buggered! The pigeon is 4 months and 3 weeks old!
