A racing pigeon's gut is crucial for its overall health and performance because it directly impacts nutrient absorption, energy production, immune function, and recovery after a race, meaning a healthy gut is essential for optimal flying ability and stamina during competitions; a poorly functioning gut can lead to decreased performance and increased susceptibility to illness.

There are so many products online and also at the racing pigeon shows, so what are members thoughts on using some of these products?

For me the most important aspect is how well and how fast the pigeon can recover after its exertion racing

The faster and more complete the reovery, the sooner and better prepared you are for the week ahead

I've found nothing superior to this https://pigeonvitality.com/product/rebuild-powder/

I came across this product in Spain, I must say I think it is a very good product 1 ml to 1 ltr of water. I would start my birds with this 2 times in 1st week then just once a week.

I've used Gemthepax for over 20 years. Not racing now but still use it.

There's not a week went by when I never used it

Mixing onto the feed makes it more economical and they get the full benefit ;)
