A true friendship.

Talk about anything racing pigeon related here aslong as there isnt a section for it.

I had the pleasure to meet Murray and Cathrine, and I can say it was really nice to meet both of them. I have met some great people in the racing pigeon sport, and have been on some great loft visits. So I am really happy that I took my chance to visit Murray and Cathrine. they really made me welcome to their home. A great trip I really enjoyed.

My trip to Germany to meet Christopher and Leon was another great trip. the family made me very welcome. I must say I have always loved Germany, I had the pleasure to work in Kassel Germany many years ago. So my trip to see Germany again. I really enjoyed the welcome from the Spieker family.

On just these 2 trips, I seen some great birds. Also I have great memories to add to my other trips over the years.

Dave, I would say the breeding of racing pigeons was Gold to me, but to meet other great people in the sport. Just added to my love for the sport. and I agree with you Dave. I am a lucky man, planning his next trip.

It has been a great privilege to have made friends like Devo, Buster, Andy, Trev and others over the past decade or so.
But to have Devo come all the way to Australia to visit us was quite extraordinary. It has given me a whole new outlook on the pigeon sport. I might just be a bloke with a shed in my back yard, but I feel very much more a member of a world wide fellowship of pigeon racers.
We sometimes get on each other's nerves, but we have a strong common ground. The love of the sport.
We are quite lucky. :D

To me pigeon racing is just a reflection of society

There’s those i’d bend over backwards for and those i wouldn’t p!ss on if they were on fire

Everybody i know falls into one of those 2 categories

I'm not so black and white.
There are plenty in the middle, who I neither care for or don't.
But yep, I make a good friend, but a bloody awful enemy.
