Could Boris be coming back?

Talk about anything here. ( non pigeon related please)

Following a disastrous 44 days for Liz Truss and the country, following her resignation as prime minister another one has to be found by the end of next week. I see that one of the favourites is Boris to come back. I’m surprised in some ways that he would be interested with the way he was treated. But it seems that he is wanting to put his name in the hat. Personally I would like to see him back. He made mistakes but also done a lot of good and was willing to stand up to people. The other options aren’t great and having Labour would be even worse.

I sincerely hope he does and all the ones saying they will go independent and stand down as tories well let them, just wish there was a way to force a bye election that would stuff em up, I also see some of the ones forcing him out are now supporting him

Saw this on Facebook this evening and thought it just about sums it up, why would anyone want this man to lead our country, how could anyone ever fully trust that smug smile of his !! Boris might have been a bit of a muppet at times but it shows at least that he is human !!! I think he is the best chance we have of getting any kind of stability back, people soon forgot all the good he had done, there is no other Prime minster since the 2nd world war who had quite as much to deal with in a short space of time as Boris did. Sadly there is an old saying that goes "you are only as good as your last job" people only ever remember the bad we do and soon forget the good !!!

I hear that Boris is not going to try to make a comeback. Pity.

Of course they hunted him down because he pushed Brexit through. Standing up to the UN Agenda 2030 is a bit dicey if you want to remain in power.

Yes it is a shame. Just hope we don’t get a general election and Starmer as PM.

Whether Starmer could win a general election depends on how bad things are in the UK.

If the masses are not feeling too much pain, they might very well put him in. Promises of subsidized bread and circuses have won the hearts and minds of the working class since ancient Rome.

When things really get bad enough, they want the upper classes to fix it.

Has been for thousands of years.

Ever will be.

I think they have miss judged the feeling of the general public as the feeling I get is that Boris still has a huge public backing, I don't like or trust Sunak and his multimillionaire wife and think he will lose the conservatives a lot of votes. If there is a general election I think Labour will get in but Starmer will be forced to become more left wing.
