We don’t very often get the chance to have a nice relaxed day out on our own. We decided as we had a couple of extra days off with the shop shut for the bank holidays to go down to Poole for a couple of hours. It is just over an hours drive down to the south coast for us.
Poole is a lovely seaside town. Just along the seafront from the town centre is Sandbanks. There is one row of 13 houses called millionaires row. This is where a lot of rich and famous live with the total value of the 13 houses valued at £93 million, an average of £7.2 million each.
This is a photo that I took a few years ago of millionaires row taken from the Brownsea Island pleasure cruise.
It was nice weather down there today and although a bit on the chilly side we had fish and chips on the seafront.
Brought one of these in the Boxing Day sales.
Lol. Obviously not really. These are made again for the rich and famous and some a lot bigger than that one.
Here are a few more photos taken today.
Been to Poole today
Nice place.
At least it was a decent day, although the people appear to be well wrapped up
Glad you had a good time, it seems harder to get much time to have outings these days.

Lovely pictures bruv and great to see you managed to make the most of your time off, it is lovely in Poole. Harry Redknapp lives on Sandbanks and did a TV series about it a couple of years ago !!! One of my old bosses on the Isle of Wight had a Sunseeker yacht, they are beautiful vessels but no good on choppy seas apparently !!!
Of course you wouldn't go out unless it was flat calm. If it was choppy you would end up spilling your martini.
