At last the evenings are starting to draw out a bit, on a good day its light until almost 5 so a couple more weeks and I might be able to start letting the birds out in the evenings again which will enable me to clean the loft daily 😁👍
I used to love the dark winter nights, these days I still prefer the colder days but do hate getting up in the dark and getting home in the dark 🙃🙄🤯

It is certainly getting lighter and days are drawing out. It is still light here at 5 pm. Not getting dark until around 5.45 on a clear day. I am also managing to clean out in the mornings without ant trouble before opening the shop. As mine are split up at the moment I’m not letting them out at present.
Back just enjoying club racing for the time being.

Thankfully it is all we need now is this cold spell to go away

It has been very warm today, but as your days draw out, ours are drawing in.

And the feathers are starting to gather in the corners of the loft. I notice a few are just a little bit tatty.
Isn't it amazing how quickly they react to the nights getting longer?
