If you feed handful to 6 or 7 morning and ounce at night but include 40/50 percent barley
They should fly well in the morning and trap well to your call as Murray says
Are you feeding a bit heavy or lots of peas in your mix as that will stop them wanting to get up and fly
I like the thought of splitting the feed. Giving them less time on the hopper then returning later. I think feed is the key I haven’t quite got right yet.
Although what works in one loft may not in another
I have found pigeons don’t need as much as a lot would think they require
My ybs when they come along get 7gram after there morning fly then 25 grams at night so it’s had about 14 hours to go through them by morning and I get a good fly out of them before work
I see yours are fed dupurative now I don’t feed much protein but a little wouldn’t hurt in the yb feed whilst growing even 25 per cent maybe I gradually move mine to a mix of something like 1 gerry 1 barley 1 breed and wean
In the morning you could use fat seeds to call them in as they are high protein
