A true friendship.
Hear, hear and one of the best things in life are having good friends
Sadies Lofts home of decent birds just a useless loft manager, and now a confirmed loser but proud

In life, friends come and go. Has life goes on you become to think, how life as changed. Sometimes for the best, but then again, we don't get any choice. So what I would say to all that have read this topic, live your day to the full. Any contact you have with others, respect each other and each others views. Because it may be the only chance to enjoy, just having that chat. Too much time is wasted on things we could have enjoyed better in life. Also spending time with the people, who have made your life enjoyable. Not only for yourself but all around you, just enjoying another day to love.
Fully agree mate, and when you lose those close to you you realise how short and precious life is.Devo1956 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 08, 2025 5:20 pm In life, friends come and go. Back just enjoying club racing for the time being.
We've all lost people that we worship and adore.
You're a fortunate man if you haven't because it happens to us all at some point or other.
I lost my parents who were not only icons of the sport but the best parents a man could wish for
They gave me everything in every way possible including my passion for this sport
Now, I'd like to say that no one man's grief is more acute than another man's. Then again though I know people in my personal life and on the Forum here who've lost their own children, and that's a pain that scarcely begins thinking about let alone experience.
So that's why, yes, live each day to the max, surround yourself with those that you appreciate and those who appreciate you.
The rest get short shrift

Yea you may be right, Neil. But we had a brief period not that long ago where we nearly tore the site apart.
I appreciate the friendships I've made over the years and life is short. If you value someone, tell them. Either one of you could be dead tomorrow.
I'd rather tell my forum friends, including you, Neil, that I appreciate them, than forever be wishing I'd told them after it is too late.
Greetings from the land down under.
Blessed is he who expecteth nothing, for verily, he shall not be disappointed.

My work has takes to the same kind of environment and use to be a lot heavier than it is now
I just find some things posted a little embarrassing or weak
Like I say I just thought reading grown men posting like it’s a romantic novel on a pigeon site that everyone can read is wet
A view probably been created over my life time but it’s not the done thing in my world particularly when you can just pm each other to say how much you like them if that’s your thing

Yep, I hear you.
It can go on and on after the thing has been said and replied to.
Australians tend to express their mateship by standing with a beer in their hands and saying,
"Yer oright?"
"Yp"
